Marisa Deutsch is Head of Legal with Mesa West Capital, responsible for the in-house legal and transaction support for the Originations, Asset Management, and Capital Markets teams. Prior to joining Mesa West Capital, Ms. Deutsch was Associate General Counsel at Rockwood Capital, where she provided legal support for originations, acquisitions, asset management, dispositions and capital markets.  Prior to joining Rockwood, Ms. Deutsch was Vice President and Senior Counsel at Bank of the West, where she provided counsel with respect to loan origination and syndication matters, the management and disposition of foreclosed assets and corporate leasing matters.  Prior to Bank of the West, Ms. Deutsch was an attorney in the real estate department of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where she represented financial institutions, private equity funds and developers in all areas of real estate. Ms. Deutsch received a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law.
